The Staff Portal makes it easier to find the information you need if you are a staff member at the University of Gothenburg.
At the top of the page there is a blue border. That is where you log in.
When logged in, you can access your Profile & Settings by clicking on your name.
Star – an icon to bookmark your favourite pages. Click on the star when you are on the page you want to bookmark.
Letter icon – to access your webmail.
Telephone icon – short cut for managing your telephone.
The Staff Portal has its own search engine. When you make a search while you are in the Staff Portal, it will only cover pages within the Staff Portal. When the results are displayed you can choose to repeat your search for the whole of www.gu.se.
Landing pages are web pages with collections of links that show in the menu. Each landing page contains several areas/lists of links to information that are most frequently asked for.
Here you will find news and event calendar, IT-service operational information and dissertations.
Here you will find information about your employment, such as sickness leave, continued professional development, health and safety issues and the information you need when you travel on business.
This link takes you to the information you need to do your job. It can involve environmental questions, communication, research services and finance.
The information you find here will deal for instance with the University of Gothenburg, units in the central administration, decision making processes, regulations and directives, etc.
This link gives you access to technical systems such as Agresso and Palasso. In order to see the list you need to be logged in. Once you are logged in, you can see which tools you are entitled to use.
The contact link takes you straight to contact details and a search function for university staff. We have also gathered contact details for councils, boards and committees that you cannot find using our normal staff directory.
The Staff Portal has a large page footer at the bottom of the page. It provides central contact details for the University as a whole, links intended for different target groups, as well as shortcuts to information that is frequently asked for.
Your views and ideas about how we can improve the staff portal are important! Do not be afraid to get in touch if there is something you cannot find or you can suggest improvements.
